Nasce a Bergamo alla fine degli anni ’40 ma vive e lavora in un paese vicino a Calasco D’Adda, sempre in provincia di Bergamo. Artista sensibile al destino dell’uomo, soggetto agli eterni dissidi e ai tumulti passionali che lo rendono fragile davanti agli eventi.
Importante per lei l’incontro con il pittoreAntonio Manzoni che incoraggia le sue ricerche tecno-psicologiche e la spinge a lavorare e a cercare di raggiungere un’autonomia stilistica.
La sua prima mostra personale risale al 1993 a Calasco D’Adda, nel suo paese, il catalogo è presentato da Marina Pizziolo, prosegue con altre mostre sempre in Brianza.
Nel 2000 viene invitata a rappresentare l’Italia in Belgio, nell’ambito dell’Internazionale Keramick tentoonstelling. Nel 2001 espone in Francia nell’Esposizione Internazionale D’Arte Contemporanea presso il “Centre d’art du puy guerin à Vayole” a Montssur- Guesnes e a Parigi nella Gallerie Espression libre di Anne Guillet. Nel 2002 il Comune di Salsa (Bergamo) le commissiona un monumento all’alpino di m. 5,30x 2.

Dolores Previtali was born at the end of the ‘40s in Bergamo and now lives and works in the nearby town of Calasco D’Adda. She is an artist who is sensitive to human destiny, to the eternal discords and passionate tumults that make man fragile in the face of events.
Her meeting with the painter Antonio Manzoni was of great importance for her. He encouraged her in her techno-psychological enquiries and pushed her to work and search for a style that was her own.
She had her first show at Calasco D’Adda in 1993 with a catalogue presented by Marina Pizziolo. Another exhibition followed in Brianza.
In 2000 she was invited to represent Italy at the International Ceramic Exhibition in Belgium. The next year she took part in the International Exhibition of Contemporary Art in France at the Centre d’art du Puy Guerrin à Vayole, Monts-sur-Guesnes, and in Paris at Anne Guillet’s gallery Expression Libre. In 2002 the Comune of Salsa commissioned her to make a 5.3m (17ft) high monument to the Alpine regiment.
